Terms of Service

Anjella is a community event and happy hour discovery platform based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We connect people with events, experiences, and venues happening around them. Anjella is operated by Anjella Inc. (or its principals prior to incorporation).

You may use Anjella to discover events and happy hours near you, submit events for consideration, sign up for updates, and purchase promotional placement for your events or venue.

You agree not to submit false or misleading event information, harass or harm other users or venue operators, attempt to manipulate the platform's content or ranking systems, scrape or copy platform content without permission, or violate any applicable Canadian or local laws.

Anyone may submit an event at no cost. Submitted events are reviewed before appearing on the map. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove any submission at our discretion. By submitting an event you confirm the information is accurate and grant Anjella a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform. Anjella is not responsible for the accuracy of user-submitted information.

Anjella curates information from publicly available sources and makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee all listing information is current or complete. Always confirm details directly with the venue before visiting.

All prices are in Canadian dollars. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Venue subscriptions are billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time — the subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. Founding Partner pricing is locked for the lifetime of an active subscription — cancellation terminates the locked pricing. Event promotion is a one-time fee and is non-refundable once the listing has gone live.

The Anjella name, logo, Angela character, and all platform content created by Anjella are our intellectual property and may not be used without written permission. The Angela character represents a real person and is used with deep personal significance — any unauthorised use or imitation is not permitted.

Anjella is provided on an as-is basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the platform will be available at all times or that listing information will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, Anjella will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Anjella in the 30 days prior to the claim.

Anjella uses Mapbox, Supabase, Stripe, Mailchimp, Formspree, and Google Analytics. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Anjella after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
